From structural design to export compliance — packaging done properly

Transport Packaging Design

Logistics Transport Packaging Design

Packaging design is not "drawing a box" — it is a systems engineering exercise based on cargo characteristics, the transport route and environmental conditions. Working to GB/T 8166 and the ISTA series, our engineering team runs full load analysis and cushioning calculations for every shipment.

01 · Cargo Characterisation

Weight, centre of gravity, fragility (G factor), surface protection and assembly/disassembly requirements

02 · Distribution Environment Assessment

Transport mode, handling cycles, stacking layers, temperature, humidity and salt spray exposure

03 · Structural Load Calculation

FEA verification of base beams, stacking compression strength and lifting points

04 · Cushioning & Moisture Protection

Cushion thickness calculation, VCI corrosion inhibition and desiccant quantity determination

Deliverables: structural design drawings (CAD/PDF), load calculation report, bill of materials (BOM), and packing and securing work instructions.

Carton Design Service

Corrugated Carton Design Service

"Replacing wood with paper" has become the mainstream direction for export packaging — no fumigation, lower tare weight, fully recyclable. But substituting a carton for a wooden case is not a simple material swap; the strength design has to be re-engineered and re-validated.

Printing & Marking

Flexographic printing, moisture-resistant coating, standardised shipping marks

Testing & Validation

Transit Testing & Validation

Our in-house mechanical testing laboratory handles routine performance validation of packaged products, and we can also arrange accredited third-party laboratories to issue formal test reports.

Export Compliance

Export Compliance Consulting

  • ISPM15 wood packaging quarantine requirements and IPPC marking rules
  • UN dangerous goods packaging certification and documentation preparation
  • EU Packaging and Packaging Waste Directive (PPWD) and US state packaging regulations
  • Checking destination-specific requirements (Australia debarking, USA, Japan and more)
FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the minimum order quantity for custom packaging?+
Standard items have no MOQ — one piece is enough. For bespoke designs we recommend 10 pieces or more to absorb tooling and prototyping costs; the exact figure can be agreed with our engineers.
How long does prototyping take, and is it chargeable?+
Standard samples take 3–5 working days, complex structures 7–10 days. Samples are charged at cost and fully credited against the value of the subsequent production order.
Can you provide on-site packing service?+
Yes. We are on site within 24 hours across Sichuan and Chongqing, and can coordinate local service teams nationwide. The service covers measuring, packing, vacuum sealing and container securing.
How are export wooden case certificates issued?+
We hold a customs-recognised phytosanitary treatment licence. Once treatment is complete, the IPPC mark is applied to the case and a Wood Packaging Phytosanitary Treatment Certificate is issued to travel with the goods.
How do I read the data from monitored packaging?+
Scan the case with WeChat Mini Program to bind it and view live data. Three dashboards are available — route, temperature/humidity and shock events — with automatic alerts pushed to the designated owner when limits are exceeded.
